Time to blog I think :)

I'm sat in the car doing not very much so I thought I'd do my blog (:

Hi peoples! Hope you're all well! I've finally recovered from being ill..thankfully :) I'm fed up of illness..i'll have to start eating healthier I think :')

What other news do I have? Ooh Apple's new mouse, dubbed "Magic Mouse" is SO nice! Very tempted to get one of those multi-touch bad boys 8) but my girlfriend insists £55 is too much for a mouse :') I'll get back to you on how that goes.

Got a week off college now anyway so that's nice :) had a fun trip to Manchester with all my mates..then hung out at Matt's..was a boss day :D The next evening was at Joe's..I had meatloaf for the first time..it was interesting :') but nice all the same (: So a good start to my week off!

Work has been fun this week! And i've got overtime this week :) the release of windows 7 being the big reason for work being fun! My Windows 7 verdict: really good, but I couldn't explain why 8) Most of the advertised features (i.e. Snap and Aero Shake are fairly lacklustre) which makes it a little hard to sell but oh well :')

Oh well! I'm off now..car journey is nearly over and I've got to go meet the girlfriend..so I'll write again soon bloggers :)

Anywho..I've been ill the past 4 days with god knows what 8| but it finally seems to be subsiding! Yay!

I can finally get back to just doing things again, rather than lying in bed not being able to do a thing :)

On a different note, if anyone has been following the tv show FlashForward..how GOOD is it?!?! Loving that atm. Along with Fringe and Heroes :D

Anyway..seeing as I'm feeling a bit better this afternoon I'm gonna try get some work I've missed out on done! So catch you later guys :)

Blogging from my iPod touch..

Hi!

I don't even know if people read this blog..blogs are funny things aren't they? I might try and find a purpose for mine and actually use it :)

Along with my twitter, facebook, msn, myspace, flickr, digg, evernote etcetera etcetera [the links will be on the bottom of the post ;)]

I think I might use this as some sort of record of how college work is going..if I found anything new while researching and so on :)

But for today I'm just trying out this iPod app (BlogPress Lite - lite cause I dunno if it's worth buying yet :') I've just had to take the headphones out of my iPod cause I wasn't wearing them and I wanted the tappa tappa noise of the keyboard LOL :D

I had a short 2 hour visit to the planning offices at the local borough council today to see what sort of things go on seeing as it's what I want to do at uni :) I sat in on a meeting which I must say was really interesting 8)

Anyway typing on here does get tedious..and I could do with a cuppa and maybe a quick shower!

I'll try and post again soon :)

Post Title

Scrambled Egg Pasta

This simple take on carbonara is the ideal postwork fallback dinner.

Ingredients

1. 4 eggs
2. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
3. 8 slices thick bacon, chopped
4. 1 onion, chopped
5. 4 cups al-dente cooked pasta
6. Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. In a small bowl, beat together the eggs and cheese; set aside.
2. In a large skillet, fry the bacon and onion together until the meat is browned and crispy and the onion has begun to caramelize.
3. Add the pasta (if using cold day-old pasta, cook until it’s just warmed through, about 1 minute).
4. Pour the egg-and-cheese mixture into the skillet and reduce heat to low. Stir continuously until the pasta is coated with the eggs and they have begun to solidify.
5. Season with the salt and pepper, then serve immediately, with extra grated Parmesan on the side.

Breakfast Burrito Time!

Breakfast Burritos

Ingredients

1. 1 lb.bulk breakfast sausage
2. 8 eggs
3. Shredded Cheese
4. Sliced avocado
5. Sour Cream
6. Salsa
7. 4 flour tortillas

Directions

1. Fry sausage in a skillet. Drain off fat and pat dry with a paper towel. Break eggs in a bowl and scramble with a fork. Add eggs to skillet with sausage in it. Cook on medium heat until fluffy. Top with cheese.
2. Heat flour tortillas in microwave on a plate covered with a paper towel. Fill each tortilla with an adequate amount of egg/sausage mixture and garnish with sliced avocado, salsa & sourcream. Serve Hot.
